Frank Ocean – Thinkin Bout You

Learn how to play Thinkin Bout You by Frank Ocean on this week's piano tutorial.

  1. Good explanation of both the keys and how to play them. Very good.

    • Glad you like it 😉 Thank you!

I savor, result in I found exactly what I used to be having a look for.
You’ve ended my four day long hunt! God Bless you man. Have a nice
    day. Bye

  3. Hi man, is the D#maj7 another chromatic?

    • Yes! It’s called an “appogiatura” chord, it’s a chromatic ornament to the next chord, half a step higher. Going a little deeper, it can be seen as a dominant tritone substitution: Instead of playing the dominant of a chord (the V of Dm would be A), we can play instead the major (or 7th) chord which is three whole steps away from it (A -> D# = 3 whole steps).

      Hope it helps!

      • Thank you , Manuel! 🙂 It does!

  4. Thank you , Manuel! 🙂 It does!
